• The Standard Six Series K, Essex Terraplane had a 106-inch wheelbase.   The Standard Series K models began with Serial Number 350000 and ended with 354124.

• The Special Six Series K, Essex Terraplane had a 106-inch wheelbase.   The Special Series K models began with Serial Number ??? (I assume 354125). Was there really a 1932 Series K Special Six? See the comments on the page for 1933 Series K. I do have VINs above 354125 for 1932 ETs; are these cars really 1933 ET Series K?

Notice the lack of a hand crank hole cover in the grill. The hand crank option was removed in 1932, but the public still didn't trust electric starters. The hand crank was added back to the 1933s as a backup method to start the car.
