1932-33 Essex Terraplane Registry

1932-'33 Registry: It is my desire to try to identify every 1932-1933 Terraplane still in existence. I currently have 189 cars in the registry that include the VIN (S/N) numbers. Inclusion of the VIN number is critical to get an accurate count. Over the years I have become aware of a potential of 150 additional Terraplanes. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the VINs on these cars, so I don't know how many times the same car has been reported by a different owner.

Note: In 1933 the body S/N did not match the engine S/N.

Another benefit of being listed is the potential to make the reproduction of a part feasible. A few years ago, a gentleman wanted to remanufacture the crank hole cover on the radiator grill. For a quantity of one it was not feasible to do. However, numerous 33 ET owners got together and shared the non-reoccurring costs, such as the cost for a three-dimensional drawing of the original part.
